Advisory Council (Forming)
The Global AI Governance and Workforce Transformation Policy Observatory is forming an Advisory Council to provide strategic guidance, review, and network support. This is a call for nominations and expressions of interest.
Role of the Advisory Council
The Advisory Council provides strategic guidance and periodic review. It does not run day-to-day operations. Members may be invited to occasional roundtables and may optionally contribute to briefings or public commentary. The Council supports the Observatory’s mission: policy-relevant analysis and public goods for AI in education and workforce transition.
Composition (targets)
We aim for a balanced, policy-oriented Council. Targets are indicative and may be adjusted:
- 2 scholars — AI in education, learning sciences, education policy, labor economics, or related fields
- 2 senior private-sector leaders — e.g. CHRO, L&D head, transformation leader, or risk/governance leader
- 2 former government / public-sector leaders — education, labor, digital governance, or workforce policy
- 1–2 NGO / international organization / standards ecosystem leaders — to match a policy observatory’s reach
Expectations
- Periodic review of Observatory direction and outputs
- Occasional participation in roundtables or convenings
- Optional contribution to briefings or public commentary (with clear attribution and conflict-of-interest disclosure)
- Lightweight commitment; no operational or fiduciary duties
